Sustainable home

Carpet Sign and 9 other textile companies are on the look out for sustainable textile, as well as the road they need to go down in order to achieve this. Expertises are bundled in order to arrive at sustainable solutions. The aim is to develop a so-called ‘green paper’ which shows the product’s level of sustainability [for example, plant extract used for painting] and the production process [reclaiming energy etc] with the use of ‘organic, technical, re-use, certification and energy’ icons. A first step towards this has now been made and the results have been bundled in the first edition of 'sustainable home'  a booklet which indicates how we see the applicability of sustainable textile in a sustainable home with the use of examples.
